About Tuin van Eden
Tuin van Eden is situated on a farm between the slopes of the Suikerbosrand River Valley with beautiful views over the mountains and the valleys.
We are 15 km from the quint town of Heidelberg in Gauteng and a mere 40 Minutes from the South of Johannesburg and the East Rand. Pretoria is a 70 minute drive (take the N3 towards Durban from Pta).
Our rustic stone hall, build from the iron stones on the farm, is the perfect setting to host your wedding reception or other functions. The stone hall can seat up to 220 guests and has ample dance space.
We cater for various types of functions and budgets and provide value for money. From a rustic to a more elegant /modern reception.
Our diverse habitat and grasslands makes it the perfect country break-away within the city limits. We have various species of birds, small animals, tree and shrub species like White Stinkwood, the Highveld cabbage tree (Kiepersol), various Aloes, Ferns, Ouhout, Wild Flowers etc.
Our tranquil environment and beautiful views over the valleys, mountains and Suikerbosriver provide a safe environment for hiking and photography enthusiasts.
We also have ample accommodation ranging from en-suite guest rooms to camping.
