Weddings
At Tuin van Eden we specialize in rustic, romantic country weddings. Our beautiful surroundings provide the perfect setting for your dream wedding… You are spoil for choice …. From a breath-taking scenic wedding ceremony on the mountain to a romantic fairy tale ceremony in the forest or a traditional ceremony in our new barnyard chapel. The choice is yours.
Hiring of Venue:
1 Stone Hall (Minimum 50 to Maximum 200 guests) - starting from R11 000
Wedding ceremony in: Barnyard Chapel / forest / on mountain - starting from R1 500
Boma available (30 to 120 guests) price on request
Weddings during Winter Season (June to August) = High Season Price less 20% (on venue rental only)
Menus: We have various menus starting from R220 to R270 per person

Above mentioned price includes:
• Hire of Venue
• Round Tables plus Chairs (8 to 10 guests per table)
• Black/White tablecloths
• Black/White chair covers
• Bride’s table (standard laying of bride’s table, extras at own expense)
• Bridal Dressing Suite will be made available for the Bride on day of wedding as from 10h00 if afternoon wedding and 8h00 if morning wedding.
• Bridegroom & Procession can get dressed in guest rooms booked by wedding party.
• Accommodation available for family and friends – see accommodation fees.
Excluded:
Bridal party must supply or can hire the following items from a decor supplier at own cost:
Under Plates, serviettes, Bows for chairs, table overlays (which cover the main table cloth), flowers, Flower pots, arrangements, all other extras.
Accommodation
Our accommodation includes:
13 en-suite guest rooms (Varying from 2 sleepers to 4 sleeper rooms) From R640 per room per night
5 Pilgrims rooms – make use of shared ablutions facilities (Sleep up to 6 per room) From R150 per person per night
14 Camping sites with power – make use of shared ablution facilities. From R60 per person per day. Must bring own tent etc

We provide a safe environment for camping, hiking, bird watching, mountain-biking and photography.
Art Classes
Artist Errol Scheckle, who has more than 50 years’ experience in creating exceptional art, will be your art teacher for the weekend.
• Improve your oil/acrylic based painting skills
• Learn how to play with colours
• Learn how to interpret the different light reflections etc. when painting.
• This course is for Beginners and Intermediate Artists.
• New subject matter will be presented for students who have attended before
Cost: R1100 for the weekend (including all meals, Saturday night accommodation and painting classes)
